The world of music has lost yet another soul, Jimmy Ray Johnson. Jimmy, a member of the Swampers and known the world over for his rhythm guitar, passed away today. Jimmy was not only a talented session guitarist but also an acclaimed producer and engineer. He was mentor to many of us far and wide. Rest In Peace Jimmy Johnson. (September 5, 2019)
